SMILE!!!

Who wouldn't love her?!!

We went to visit Chad's cousin at his engagement party last weekend and she got to spend time with her crazy great uncle Wayne. The Wayne I knew was a wild man, but that is not the Wayne I saw this weekend. He was so in love with Ella. He held her most of the party and when he wasn't holding her he followed me around staring at her. I never knew he had such a sweet spot. We some him again at the chili cook-off this weekend and he did the same thing. We gave him a framed picture of him and Ella and he put it on the front table at the cook-off for all the visitors to see. There chili team name is Ella Bella! :)

D-town

Ella and I took a trip to Dallas together. Luckily we made it all the way there and she let me drag her all over town to visit our friends and family. She also got to meet her GREAT grandaddy! Here are some pictures from the weekend.

"Agooo Nanny"

2 months

Miss Ella is now 2 months old. We went to the doctor today for her two month well check-up (it's the one with all of the shots yikes!) She did very well with her shots. It was much better than when they took her blood at 2 weeks. I thought Mimi and I were both going to start crying with her at that appointment. She now weighs 11 lbs and is 22 1/2 in. long. Her height and weight are in the 50 percentile. Her head is still big and actually getting bigger it is now in the 80 percentile. She is so much fun now. She smiles and bats her eyes when she sees us. I am not sure how we got such a great baby. Here are some recent pictures.
Ella was so excited to see her Daddy that she wouldn't drink her bottle!

Dancing with Daddy. Their best dance is the Soldia Boy. Yep she can crank that!

Her Valentimes outfit!

Road trip 1/11/08

Ella took her first road trip to Dallas to see our family and her aunties. Most of the girls hadn't met Ella yet so they were very excited. We got to spend some time with Matt, Rachel and Dealey too. Dealey just loved Ella. He wanted to play with her but she doesn't do a whole lot of playing yet. You can see he is giving her a toy in one of the pictures. At one point he smacked her in the face. :) Ella started smiling today and playing by herself. I feel like she matured a lot this weekend. Ella also got to meet Ericca this weekend. Ericca was so excited and she was very good with Ella.
